JLR Robot Dog

Jaguar Land Rover commissioned Autumn Works to create a short-form corporate video announcing the arrival of their new autonomous "Robo Dog" — a robotic inspection device supporting facility maintenance and engineering innovation.

Objectives:

  • Communicate the real-world applications of robotics in a clear, accessible way

  • Humanise the story through the JLR staff who use the robot

  • Align tone with JLR’s brand values: innovation, precision, and optimism

Our Approach:

  • We captured interview footage with key engineers and operational leads

  • Filmed on location at JLR’s research and engineering centre

  • Shot high-quality B-roll of the robot in action, including navigation tests and interaction with staff

  • Edited with light motion graphics to support messaging (titles, callouts)

  • Maintained a tight turnaround to meet an internal comms release deadline
